Dr. Donald Montano and Montano Orthodontics have been serving the Bakersfield community for 20 years. Wanting to give back to the community, Dr. Montano started the Smile for a Lifetime Foundation. Every month, the board of directors for the Foundation will choose two applicants to receive an orthodontic scholarship. Smile for a Lifetime's goal is to help children receive the smile they deserve in the hopes that they will give back to their communities.

Watch Dr. Donald Montano and the Smile for a Lifetime Foundation on the News
Dr. Montano and the Smile for a Lifetime Foundation are reaching out to under-served children around the country who are heavily involved in their communities and unable to afford orthodontic treatment. They mission of the foundation is to help these children in the hopes that they will continue to give back to their communities.
A smile is powerful and beautiful, and no child should be afraid to smile because they are self-conscious about their teeth. Thanks to Dr. Montano and the Smile for a Lifetime Foundation, more children will experience smiles they are proud of.

Burris and Montano Launch Smile For A Lifetime
Smile For A Lifetime, the foundation launched by Dr. Benjamin Burris and Dr. Donald Montano, seeks to inspire individuals to make a difference in their own communities. The Foundation provides orthodontic treatment to individuals who could not otherwise afford it. By investing in underprivileged children throughout the nation, the Foundation hopes that the children will in turn invest in their neighborhoods. At the annual Super Schulman Group meeting, Dr. Montano spoke about the Foundation to raise national awareness.
Comprised of prominent orthodontists and their practices, the Super Schulman Group aims to educate and inspire. Started twenty-five years ago by Bud Schulman, the group is an open forum for innovative ideas, such as the Smile For A Lifetime Foundation.
